Annual cultural fundraiser event 2015.
Sponsored walk in Richmond Park to raise funds for Elderly Care Home project.
The Coronavirus pandemic, which is wreaking havoc across the globe, will have a personal impact on us all. However those affected the most, as always, are the most disadvantaged. Recent events have placed many charities, including ADVRO, in a financially difficult position. It seems increasingly likely that both of our main fundraising activities may not take place, leaving ADVRO significantly short of our running costs and therefore unable to help those most in need.
We urgently require your support with 2 key objectives:
1 - Provide emergency relief for families in Amparai District most adversely impacted by Coronavirus.
2 - Continue running our regular charitable projects (including the elderly care home, nursery and tuition classes)
ADVRO is aiming to support up to 500 families, specifically selected from different areas, who have been worse affected by recent events. These families have no jobs, minimal state support, and therefore insufficient means to access food supplies. We are donating up to £10 worth of dry rations to these 500 families, which will feed them for 3-4 days.
We have a total target of £10,000. We are also seeking your generous donations to keep our crucial ongoing projects running. Our running costs for one month are £1,500. Please help us to reach this target, by making a contribution to these efforts. Your donation however big or small would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way to helping those who in situations incomparable to our own.
